How often should the seals be changed?

There is no definite time, it depends a lot on two main factors:
- Operating conditions – if we work close to the maximum design temperatures and pressures there is a faster deterioration, as well as for repeated cycles of temperature and pressure.
- The number of times the plate pack is opened and closed: if for various reasons they are opened and closed repeatedly for example to clean the plates, there will be faster deterioration.
