Do you have legionella problems in your building?
According to ministerial indications, legionella can be treated using the thermal method and the chemical method.
In the chemical method, there are components such as anatase, hydrogen peroxide and hydroxyl radical that are corrosive to pipes even at low temperatures. And they do not solve the problem.
Using the thermal method instead, the results are:
– Proven efficiency: well-documented and widespread method of eliminating Legionella. Bringing the water to a high temperature (between 60°C and 70°C) kills the bacteria quickly.
– Simplicity: requires no additional installation of special materials or UV light.
– Compatibility: Works with any type of system without special structural modifications.
– Effectiveness over the entire network: Raising the temperature centrally allows the entire water network to be disinfected, even at the most distant points.
– Savings, because:
– Unchanged energy consumption: doing three one-hour cycles per week, at night, does not affect the overall consumption of the facilities, as verified in the experiments carried out.
MDI, produced by Techno System, produces domestic hot water and does thermal disinfection of legionella, eliminates the bacterium and saves energy. It is registered, the only one in Italy, on the Ministry of Health Portal as a class 1 medical device with the stamp for the prevention of infectious diseases and was tested at the Rsa Pablo Neruda in Castelfiorentino, near Florence. Here it was verified:
– the functioning
– the savings
– the protocol of use (this is why it is also used at night in residential facilities, because at night the incidence of shower use is very low. and in any case at specific times it is forbidden. cold water can also be used to wash hands).
The experiment was supervised by Ing Luca Salvadori, Asl Toscana Centro.
“Just do a simple search even on Chat Gpt to verify the validity of what we say – points out Carlo Boccacci, president of Techno System srl – Heat is the most effective system and it also saves money”.
