Techno system is organising a webinar to learn about the MR, a plug & play heat exchanger useful for cutting energy consumption by recovering heat from hot liquid discharges.

The webinar will be held on Friday, 31 January 2025 from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on a meet remote platform.

The following will be present to explain heat exchange and how the product works:

– Marco Bartolini, Engineer and Production Manager Techno System, will present this unique patent in Italy that is the MR.

– Duccio Corbinelli, Engineer and Techno System Sales Manager, will talk about the uses and contexts in which it can be inserted.

The MR is a heat exchanger with a control unit to reduce energy consumption in the recovery of heat from discharges of hot liquids, especially water. This occurs in swimming pools, laundries, especially industrial laundries, and many other production processes.

Swimming pools must replace 2.5 to 5 per cent of their water volume for hygienic reasons every day. The water temperature is usually 28°C and is drained at this temperature. Refilling is done with cold water, between 12 and 14°C.  With the module produced by Techno System, it is possible to transfer the heat from the hot waste water to the cold make-up water. This saves up to 90% of the energy needed to heat the cold make-up water. Techno System has experimented with this system in the public swimming pool of Cascina, near Pisa, obtaining these results: about 10,000 litres of water to be made up with a saving of up to 25 cubic metres of methane per day.
